Mortal Kombat 1 feature

Mortal Kombat 1’s Story Mode has been leaked online

It appears that the entire Story Mode of the new MK game, Mortal Kombat 1, has been leaked online. The following leaked video is over 3 hours in length and showcases all the single-player cut-scenes that are present in the game.

Now the bad news here is that the leaked video is of really low quality. For most people, it won’t be worth watching. However, a lot of YouTube channels will rip it in order to share small clips from it. I’ve already seen clips on YouTube from the final boss fight. So, expect to get tons of them in the coming days.

Mortal Kombat 1 will release on September 19th. The game will be using Unreal Engine 4, and here are its official PC system requirements.

As we’ve already reported, the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech at launch. In theory, Warner Bros will most likely remove it one or two years after release. After all, that’s exactly what the publisher did with Mortal Kombat 11.

Moreover, QLOC has removed the “Cross-Platform Multiplayer“ tag from the game’s Steam store page. From the looks of it, its inclusion was a mistake and nothing more. This didn’t surprise me as Warner Bros claimed that Mortal Kombat 1 would support cross-play between PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. And yes, QLOC will be handling the PC version (in other words, it won’t be developed in-house by NetherRealm Studios).

Those interested can go ahead and watch here the leaked Mortal Kombat 1 Story Mode video. From what I’ve seen, no one has uploaded it on YouTube yet, which makes sense as Warner Bros will immediately take it down.

Stay tuned for more!
